Día de la Hispanidad

Just as Americans enjoyed a long weekend in memory of Columbus Day, we took a day off in Spain in respects to the Día de la Hispanidad, which essentially celebrates the same concept: Christopher Columbus’ discovery of the New World. The night before, I received an email from Mrs. Park, a close family friend under whose guidance I have grown up under.
