Paris is always a good idea.

I completely understand why the world is so enamored with and inspired by this city. I loved how there was so much open space, how diversity is much more accepted there, how incredibly friendly the locals were, and how everyone greeted me with bonjour despite my doe-eyed touristy gaze. The breads and croissants were to die for, and all the monuments I had only seen in photos throughout my life were stunning as they stood before me. I even summed up my courage to try some escargot.
