Buenos días! My name is June, and I’m currently an International Business student at Northeastern University. I was born and raised in Chicago, moved to Boston for my college studies, spent a summer learning about the language and culture of Seoul, South Korea, lived in Cleveland for half of a year during my first co-op assignment, dedicated a summer to learning graphic design in New York City, and am now starting fresh in Madrid, Spain. The rhythm of my life within the last 4 years has been the zipping and unzipping of suitcases and flight turbulence–and I couldn’t imagine it being any other way!
I believe that the best way to grow–to understand yourself, your roots, where you are going/how you will impact the world someday–is to challenge yourself by stepping outside of your comfort zone whenever the opportunities present themselves.
What I love the most about my degree is that my curriculum requires me to spend at least a year abroad, taking courses at a renowned business school in Madrid, and then completing a 5-month, full-time internship afterwards. I’m thrilled to be living in Europe & am excited to see and experience all it has to offer.
Thanks for visiting my page!
