New Years in Amsterdam

We were invited to a party which happens to be a beautiful apartment on the water, and the host lives on the top floor of the complex, so he has access to the rooftop terrace, where there is a 360º view of Amsterdam. On one side we could see the canals, and on the other side was a clock tower telling us how much longer we had until midnight. Amazing. And finally when the clock struck midnight, we could see fireworks going off all throughout the entire city. It was absolutely gorgeous–I felt like I was dreaming!
